Signing of the Letter of Intent regarding the construction of the Care and Treatment Facility in Skierniewice – July 28, 2025
The cost of the entire investment is over PLN 23 million, of which almost PLN 19.5 million comes from funding under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, and PLN 4 million will be transferred from the budget of the Łódź Voivodeship, represented by the Deputy Marshal of the Łódzkie Voivodeship, Piotr Wojtysiak.
The planned Care and Treatment Facility (CFA) is a modern facility providing comfortable treatment and rehabilitation conditions, professional care from specialists, and comprehensive support for the elderly, the chronically ill, patients with dementia, and those recovering from strokes and surgeries. The facility will be equipped with innovative medical devices, including mobile rehabilitation robots, diagnostic equipment, and tools supporting daily care.
– Today we are signing agreements that will allow us to start the construction process of ZOL – emphasized Michał Banaś, President of the Medical Investment Board of Łódź.
The new building will be single-story, shaped like an letter L, with a total of 34 beds. Patients will have 17 double rooms, one single room adapted to the needs of a disabled person, and an isolation room for infectious disease patients. Each room will be equipped with a separate bathroom, ensuring comfort and privacy.
The investment will also include the construction of:
- rooms for rehabilitation and occupational therapy,
- medical and treatment rooms,
- social spaces – including ward kitchen, recreation room and day care rooms.
The construction of ZOL is scheduled for completion in June 2026.
This is an important investment for the residents of Skierniewice and the surrounding area, which will significantly improve access to high-quality long-term care.
